What a great day on the water! Today I had the privilege of taking local Hero Chris Covington and his son fishing, and what an amazing day it was. Together, they caught 65 fish before the little man decided we needed to save some fish in the sea for the next trip (his words)!

Days like these are what it’s all about—making memories, sharing laughs, and spending quality time together. We want all of our Heroes to know that they are never alone. If you need us, we’re always here.

What a great weekend at the Heroes Saltwater Retreat! Our heroes had an absolute blast, and it was an honor to spend time with such incredible men and women.

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, boat captains, volunteers, and everyone who donated their time and resources to make this event possible. Your generosity and servant-hearted spirit are what make these retreats such a success.

Always remember, it’s not just about the hunting and fishing—it’s about making sure our nation’s heroes know they are not alone. Sometimes the simplest, most selfless acts of kindness can make a lasting difference in someone’s life.

All right everyone, it’s time to get ready for our Saltwater Fishing Retreat! 🎣

📅 Dates: June 5th–7th
We’ll be hosting 10–15 Heroes for an incredible weekend filled with rest, relaxation, great food, good company, and hopefully plenty of fish!

We will have medical personnel on site, so even those with disabilities can be comfortably accommodated—just like always.

⚠️ Important Reminders:
• Please only nominate a Hero once
• Make sure they are available that weekend
• This will be a no pets, spouses, kids, or plus
ones event

What a great weekend! We were honored to serve 20 Heroes at the annual 4 Rivers Hunt. We made incredible memories and truly enjoyed the camaraderie. The entire event went perfectly, with many animals harvested and lifelong bonds strengthened.

LAHH would like to sincerely thank all of our sponsors for their continued support. The entire Jonesville community comes together each year to make this event possible, and we are beyond grateful. A special thanks to TP Outdoors West Monroe LA for their donations!

We have two gentleman with dogs that are going to make a squirrel hunt in Catahoula NWR on January 17th. They are looking for 5 heroes to take for shooters. You will need some knee boots and steel shot, a basic hunting license and a Catahoula permit(we can tell you how to get that). If you are interested in going put your name in the comments…… please make sure you can go ahead of time and be ready to walk a good ways behind these very good squirrel dogs.
