The Rex Lofton Foundation The Foundation was created to provide scholarships to seniors in Catahoula Parish, regardless of their intent to attend college.

It was created to honor the memory of Rex Lofton. The foundation is a 501c3 organization. All donations are tax deductible. The Rex Lofton Foundation's goal is to provide scholarships to high school seniors in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana, who may not plan to attend a college or university. The Foundation realizes that these students have costs associated with going directly into the workforce and

intends to provide scholarships to help with those costs. The Foundation's funding sources will be donations, fundraisers, and grants. There will be no expenses paid out of Foundation funds other than banking costs and the scholarships that will be provided to students. The Foundation is set up as an Amazon Smile Charity. The Foundation's PayPal is [email protected]. Rex Lofton was killed in an automobile accident in August of 2021. His family established this foundation to honor his memory. Although Rex was the Salutatorian of his senior class, after a brief time in college, he chose to move into retail management. At the time of his death, Rex was managing a Starbucks location.
