⚽️ The WLS boys' varsity soccer team improved its season record to 2-2 with a win over Jackson Center. Kamden Yang scored all 3 goals for WLS and Tucker Searles had 3 saves in goal for the Tigers.

The team travels to Newton on 9/3 for a 7 pm match for its next game.

The West Liberty-Salem Big Orange Girls Cross Country Team competed Saturday at the Bob Schul Invitational hosted at Milton-Union.

The Girls were 4th place out of 16 teams in the division 1 & 2 race.

Coach’s Comments:
The Bob Schul invite is a nice way to kick off the season. This was a solid race for the girls. Losing a team place on a tiebreaker is never fun, but it does give us an early-season lesson of how every place is important. I liked how our team executed our pre and post-race routines. I also liked how all the girls moved up the last mile. I was particularly impressed with how our two freshmen ran competitive and composed races. There is much work ahead of us in accomplishing our season goals, but we are making progress.

MS Boys take Runner Up!

West Liberty-Salem competed at the Bob Schul Invitational on Saturday.
The Big Orange girls team came away with an impressive win in a competitive field of 25 teams!
Leading the way was Nika Matthews in second place with a time of 12:24.4 🏅

⚽️West Liberty-Salem Girls Soccer traveled to Bellefontaine winning 3-0 in a non-conference matchup.

🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼Scoring for the Tigers were Arianna Weaver, Ellery Wygal and Avery Brown.

🥅Ella Jacobs recorded 6 saves and another shutout.

✅The Tigers are 2-1-1 on the season and 1-0-1 in OHC play.

🗓They will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to West Jefferson for conference play.

🦵Kick off will be at 5:30pm.

🏈 West Liberty Salem hosted Ben Logan at Tiger stadium.

West Liberty Salem fell 41-13 to the Raiders.

Silas Krabill had 15 carries for 81 yards (33 long)
Zade Bieleski had a rushing touchdown.

Beckett Sullivan went 18 for 26 for 167 yards and a touchdown pass.

Brandel Sullivan had 8 receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown catch.

The Tigers are back at home next week, and will host Cedarville.

Tonight, members of our High School Cheer team headed to the Junior High football game to cheer on our Middle School cheerleaders and football team as they took the field for their first home game of the season!
This is what being a Tiger is all about. Showing up for one another, supporting fellow student-athletes, and building that Tiger pride from middle school through high school.
