TOMORROW is the day!

Join us for the Big Top Diaper Drive Extravaganza, Friday, August 14 from 10 AM to 2 PM at The Other Side Village!

It's completely free and family friendly, just show up and join the fun:

Petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, carnival games, and more!

Guided tours of the tiny homes HomeAid built & an inside look at The Other Side Village!

Every dollar raised is split 50/50 between HomeAid Utah's construction projects and diaper need for Utah families, so the fun you have tomorrow directly builds homes and supports families.

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Milestone home, and we couldn't be prouder of what this community built together!

This remodel means more than new floors and countertops. It means stability for young adults working toward independence. Since 2012, Milestone has served more than 350 young adults, with 97% housed and employed or in school upon exit in 2025.

Thank you to Salt Lake County Youth Services, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Concord Homes, and every trade partner who gave their time, materials, and expertise to make this home possible. Labor and materials were significantly donated by Utah's building industry, and it shows in every detail.

Thank you also to our speakers who shared their support: Deputy Mayor Erin Litvack, State Homeless Coordinator Tyler Clancy, HomeAid Utah Executive Director Lisa Wright, Council Member Alison Stroud, Pastor James Wakefield, Section Manager Mina Koplin, and Youth Action Board President Cameron Thompson, who led the ribbon cutting.

See Milestone at House #11 in the 2026 Salt Lake Parade of Homes, running through August 15.

One more day until The Parade of Homes!

This before and after captures the transformation of the Milestone home, from outdated and worn down to safe, stable transitional housing for young adults building toward independence.

None of this happens without Utah's building industry stepping up, led by Concord Homes and our incredible trade partners.

Starting tomorrow, House #11 is open for tours at the 2026 Salt Lake Parade of Homes (July 31–August 15). Come see what community-driven construction can do.

07/27/2026

Before this renovation, 2 out of every 10 young adults leaving this Milestone home returned to homelessness. After? Just 1 in 20.

That's the power of community-driven construction.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Utah's building industry, led by Concord Homes and our trade partners, this Sandy home has been transformed into safe, stable transitional housing for young adults at risk of homelessness through the Milestone Transitional Living Program.

Come see it for yourself! Visit House #11 in the 2026 Salt Lake Parade of Homes (July 31–August 15) to tour the home and learn more about HomeAid Utah's mission.

37 beds just became 47! Thanks to an incredible team effort, VOA Utah's Youth Resource Center has 10 new beds for youth experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County.

HomeAid Utah teamed up with Builders FirstSource, Bart Mensinger, Majestic Flooring, Firetrol Protection Systems, Knighton Architecture, and EverOn to turn an unused upstairs room into a safe, fire-rated dormitory space, saving VOA Utah over $20,000 to put back into programs and people.

Today, we cut the ribbon and celebrated with a breakfast for the youth who call this shelter home.

Remember last year's Diaper Drive?

Builders battled it out, diaper houses went up, a winner was crowned, and hundreds of thousands of diapers went to Utah families.

This year, we're shaking things up!

On Friday, August 14, the Diaper Drive becomes the Big Top Diaper Drive Extravaganza! A free family carnival at The Other Side Village, the very community where HomeAid built 11 homes.

The diaper houses are back, plus a co****le tournament, dunk tank, petting zoo, free food, a chance to tour the village, and more carnival fun.

This year, your gift works twice as hard: half supports diaper need for Utah families, and half builds homes for people experiencing homelessness.
