PJ Library Greater Hartford PJ Library of Greater Hartford is a Jewish family engagement program. Some events will be held virtually.

In addition to the free books that are mailed each month to your children, we offer a variety of programs and Jewish holiday events for everyone to enjoy. PJ LIBRARY provides some of the very best of Jewish children's books delivered directly to your child’s home. There is no cost to the family thanks to the generosity of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and amazing donors in our community. Here in

Greater Hartford we offer a wide range of events and activities to help all families experience holidays, Shabbat, and Jewish values with others. We even have a PJ Library Room in the Family Room at the JCC that you are always welcome to visit. The PJ Library program sends age appropriate books and surprises for children ranging in age from birth to 8+ years. Every PJ Library book arrives in the family's mailbox with an accompanying printed reading guide on the book flaps. The guide provides information about the Jewish concepts referred to in the book and suggests activities to expand upon the topics in the story. The PJ Library program offers materials for children ranging in age from birth to 8+ years. PJ Our Way provides novels and more for the 9 to 12 year olds.

Join us for the Blue & White Block Party on Sunday, May 31 from 11:00am–2:00pm — a fun afternoon celebrating Israel with music, swimming, Israeli food, dancing, shopping, art activities, games, and fun for all ages.

With a wide variety of activities for all ages and interests, everyone can enjoy the afternoon their own way — relax poolside, explore the Shuk, enjoy family activities, create Hanoch Piven-inspired art, listen to music, grab kosher food, or jump into this year’s optional Maccabiah Games featuring friendly team competitions, trivia, obstacle courses, swim races, gaga, and more.
