We are open today 8-5 at 906 Broadway in West Burlington. Doors close at 4:45.

We are short staffed today so patience is appreciated. This may result in a short wait for our volunteer to check your form if there are multiple people. Here is how you can help make things easier
1) CAREFULLY fill out your form. Ensure that the names and ages of everyone are on the form, on the correct line. I have highlighted those areas to make them stand out.
2) When you are finished shopping, Please remove all hangers and put them in the bin. Please put the clothing on the table by household member so our volunteer can quickly count.
3) If you drop something on the floor, please quickly hang it back up.
4) There are multiple signs throughout the center stating to not put your small children in the cart. These are not "shopping cart" type carts that are safe for children. They tip over easily and we do not want your child injured.

I hope everyone has a beautiful day- stay safe because the weather might get a little sketchy!!

Good Morning. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We are open today 8-5 at 906 Broadway in West Burlington. Doors close at 4:45.

The warm weather makes me incredibly grateful to be in this building instead of when a lot of us first met, with us melting in the storage unit. To think of how far we have come in 1 year is just amazing!! When Ivy and I really decided to make a go of this, we never expected we'd be where we are today. Its because of all of you!

The Southeast Iowa Resource Center’s Board of Directors has reviewed the June 5, 2026 incident, including security footage and statements from staff and volunteers who were present.
The review confirmed that the client responded aggressively when organizational policies were being enforced. As a result, the Board fully supports the Director's decision to remove the client from the premises and issue a ban.
Our policies are in place to ensure fair and consistent service for all clients and to protect the safety of our staff, volunteers, and the individuals we serve. These policies must be followed and will be enforced accordingly. Any aggressive behavior toward staff or other clients will be met with a zero tolerance policy going forward.

IMPORTANT 📢🚨Reminder that our summer hours have started. We are open today Friday June 5th from 8-1. We will be open tomorrow Saturday June 6th from 8-12. I will not be responding to messages, texts or calls over the weekend (or any weekend) to allow me time with my family 🙂 the answer to most common questions are in our PINNED posts. It’s been a whirlwind week!

I do want to let you know that if you are coming for girls clothing, we have very very little. Boys clothing we have a little more but not much. We are ok on infant clothing.

Good morning everybody! It’s Wednesday already so the week is flying by, which is great!

We are open today 8 to 5! Remember, we have now started our summer hours, so Wednesdays are no longer open until six. Doors lock at 4:45. 906 Broadway West Burlington.

Thanks to the amazing people in Burlington. Our supplies are being restocked and I could not be more grateful for our community.

Monday was a record day for us with 35 families coming in for assistance. I think our volunteers need a round of applause because they handled it flawlessly. I’ve said it 1 million times. I have the best volunteers on the planet. I’m so honored to call all of them my friends. If volunteering interests, you come in and see Kaci!
