Kelly Thompson has earned our endorsement for Jackson County Legislator, District 1 because she understands the issues that matter most to working families. She knows that strong wages, safe workplaces, and good jobs help build stronger communities and a stronger local economy.

Kelly is committed to standing up for workers and ensuring that Jackson County's future is shaped by the needs of its residents, not special interests. We’re proud to support her campaign and her vision for Jackson County.

When working people need someone in their corner, they deserve a leader who knows how to fight for what matters.

Jim Avery is a combat veteran who served our country through three overseas deployments and has carried that same sense of duty into public service. He has committed to standing with working families, supporting union labor, and advocating for LIUNA members in Jefferson City.

We are honored to endorse Jim Avery for Missouri State Senate in the 22nd District and look forward to working alongside him on behalf of working people.

Leadership matters, and Bill Baird has proven he can deliver. During his time as Mayor of Lee’s Summit, he helped manage rapid growth, make responsible financial decisions, and plan for a future that benefits workers, families, and local communities.

Bill has consistently backed the people who keep our communities running. From supporting higher teacher salaries to increasing pay for firefighters and first responders, he has shown a commitment to investing in working people.

That’s why we’re proud to stand with Bill Baird for Jackson County. He shares our values and understands the role unions play in building a stronger future for everyone.

NO on Amendment 5 for our working families!

On August 4th, Missouri’s voters will be asked to decide whether or not the state will replace its income tax with an everything tax. This disastrous policy would leave it up to politicians to decide how they’ll make up the lost revenue. This is a great deal for the top 1% of income earners but a bad deal for everyone else like working families, seniors, and anyone in the state who works for a living. We are not going to let this happen!
