Today we held the Swift River Run Club End of Year Awards Ceremony!
As a school community, we covered 18983 miles this school year making it 75% of the way around the globe!
For a second year in a row, our 2nd grade class came out on top averaging 177 miles per student!
Special congratulations to our students who entered the 100 mile club earning their SRRC medals today and to June and Chris, the two recipients of our SRRC Community Achievement award!

Our Summer Kickoff Luau is this Friday, and we’re looking forward to a great evening together!

Hello Swift River Families,

You're invited to our FREE Summer Kick-Off Luau on Friday, June 12, from 5:00–7:30 PM!

Come celebrate the end of the school year with free pizza, chips, drinks, snow cones, a bounce house for PK–1 students, and a 75-foot inflatable obstacle course for all ages. Don't forget to wear your best Hawaiian attire!

As with all PTCA events, this celebration is only possible because of our amazing volunteers. We have a small group of parents who work hard to make these free family events happen, and we'd love a little extra help. If you're planning to attend, please consider signing up for a short volunteer shift so everyone can enjoy the evening!

Dear Swift River Families,

The Swift River PTCA is partnering with Mr. Cortina, our Band Director and Music Teacher, to raise funds for much-needed durable music stands for our band students.

Our current stands are old, unstable, and frequently fall over, damaging music and creating frustration for students. We are asking our school community to help us provide our musicians with the quality equipment they need and deserve.
