Victoria Rose Scholarship Fund We are an all volunteer 501(c)3 providing dance scholarships to The Dance Studio of Orange to those in need via donations from the community.

Victoria Rose was a vibrant little girl who loved to dance and share that love with all those around her. Victoria was taken from us too soon, but through the Victoria Rose Scholarship Fund we will continue her legacy of joy, love and dance. Victoria was adamant that all of her friends get to experience dance on their own, and we hope to carry out that wish with the Victoria Rose Scholarship. Our mission is to allow as many children as possible to experience the joy of dance that Victoria loved.

Last night was one of those moments that will stay with us forever.

As the Ralph C. Mahar Regional School Class of 2026 celebrated their graduation, they made sure that Victoria was not forgotten. This was Victoria’s graduation year—the year she would have walked across the stage alongside her classmates—and they honored her in a way that brought tears to our eyes.

A seat was reserved for Victoria, adorned with flowers. We were presented with a graduation cap in her memory, a simple yet incredibly meaningful symbol of a milestone she should have been able to celebrate. And perhaps most touching of all, the Class of 2026 chose to dedicate their class gift as a memorial bench in Victoria’s honor.

There are no words that can fully express our gratitude. To the graduates, faculty, staff, and everyone involved in making these tributes possible—thank you. Thank you for remembering Victoria. Thank you for ensuring that her place in the Class of 2026 was recognized. Thank you for showing such compassion, kindness, and love.

While there is sadness in knowing she could not be there in person, there is also comfort in knowing that she was present in the hearts of so many. Last night’s tributes reminded us that a life, no matter how brief, can leave a lasting impact.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026. As you begin your next chapter, know that your thoughtfulness and generosity have touched our community more deeply than words can express.

Forever a part of the Class of 2026
This year, we celebrate the Class of 2026 and all their accomplishments — and we hold close in our hearts the beautiful soul who should be celebrating alongside them.
Victoria Rose was a bright light in every room, full of joy, laughter, and a love of dance that she shared with everyone around her. Though her time here was far too short, her spirit continues to shape the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
We imagine her cheering with her friends in the stands, dancing on every stage she could, and joyfully embracing the excitement of senior year. She is missed in every milestone, every memory, and every moment that has passed without her — but she is never forgotten.
Victoria’s legacy lives on in the smiles she inspired, the love she gave so freely, and in the scholarship fund that carries forward her dream of making dance accessible for all. Her classmates carry her with them as they step forward into their futures, and we take comfort in knowing her light continues to shine through each and every one of them.
Always loved. Always remembered. Always dancing in our hearts.

This year The Victoria Rose Scholarship Fund is partnering with 48LongStems to bring you beautiful, fresh recital flowers for your special dancer! Flowers must be reserved, and there will be a very limited supply of flowers on hand at the recitals for purchase. Every dancer loves to receive flowers after their performance! Reservations must be made through the link below to ensure that we have enough bouquets. They are placed via special order for your special dancer. Orders must be placed NO LATER than May 21nd, 2026. The cost of a single stem bouquet is $10, all proceeds benefit the Victoria Rose Scholarship Fund. For your convenience, flowers will be available for pickup at the flower table during your dancer’s recital. Payment via Cash, Check or Venmo will be required at time of pick up.
