The T-shirts for the 24th International Food & Music Festival may be ordered from mid-June to mid-July 2026. These T-shirts feature the winning logo design by Maeve Dwyer. This "T-shirt Orders" window is the only opportunity to secure a 2026 T-shirt, since in 2026 there will not be a subsequent "General Sales" window as there has been in most past years. Details can be found on the Festival website (www.thefoodfestival.com)--in English (on the "T-shirts 2026" page) and in Spanish (on the "Camisetas 2026" page).

One of the Finalists in the 24th International Food and Music Festival Logo Concept Contest was Graysen Magoc. Fr. Ange presented Graysen with her Finalist certificate at the end of the 9 AM Mass on May 17. Congratulations, Graysen.

One of the Finalists in the 24th International Food and Music Festival Logo Concept Contest was Laurel J. Fr. Ange presented Laurel with her Finalist certificate at the end of the 6:30 PM Mass on May 16. Congratulations, Laurel.

At the end of the 9 AM Mass on May 3, Fr. Fred announced Maeve Dwyer as the winner of the 24th International Food and Music Festival Logo Concept Contest. The first image is Maeve's design. The others are from the presentation of the winner's certificate to Maeve by Fr. Fred during his announcement of the winner at the 9 AM Mass on May 3. Maeve and Fr. Fred are also pictured with the rest of the Dwyer family. Maeve's winning design will be the basis of the official logo of the 24th Festival, which will be featured on the 2026 IFMF T-shirts, which can be ordered in June 2026.

There were 21 entries to this year's logo contest. The International Food and Music Festival Committee narrowed these down to 3 Finalists. The parish vote for the contest winner will take place at all Masses on April 25 and April 26. You must be present to vote. Please do not submit any proxy votes.

The International Food and Music Festival Logo Contest is back for 2026! This contest is open to all children/teens (14 years old or younger) of parishioners of St. Eugene Catholic Church in Wendell NC. Entry forms will be available until April 12: in PDF format online starting March 14, 2026 and in hard copy format in the Gathering Space at the church before and after the weekend Masses from March 21 to April 12. Contest entries should be submitted by placing a hard copy in the contest drop box on a table in the Gathering Space at the church before and after the weekend Masses from March 21 until April 12, 2026 at 1:30 PM. (We are not accepting electronic submittals.) The winner will be announced the weekend of April 25-26. In addition to the traditional prize of a free Festival T-shirt featuring the winning design concept, this year's winner will also receive an additional prize. See the Festival website (www.thefoodfestival.com) for details. Pay special attention to this year's contest rules, as there are some changes from previous years.

The 5 posts on Oct. 2 may seem a bit odd, coming as they did after the Sept. 27 International Food and Music Festival. Those posts on Oct. 2 had been planned to be made on Sept. 25 & 26. The reason for the delay is that at approximately 4:30 PM on Sept. 24, facebook, using its "Meta artificial intelligence", suspended my account for allegedly violating its Community Standards. The accusation was ridiculous and I immediately appealed, but it wasn't until Sept. 30 that facebook acknowledged that this suspension was a mistake and lifted the suspension. In the meantime, the International Food and Music Festival page was severely crippled at the most critical time of the year--the 6 days bracketing the Festival.
