East Wake Education Foundation Children need to be as prepared as possible when they enter school. That's what EWEF is all about.

These services for eastern Wake children ages birth to school age are designed to enhance children's development and to raise community awareness. EWEF offers free early childhood learning to eastern Wake County families with children ages birth to five. Our program is unique because the parent or caregivers stays on site with their child and participates in daily activities.

A skill that is important for children to learn is getting themselves dressed. This includes zipping, tying, and deciding what to wear. We decided what our bear would need based on the weather outside.

Give your child a choice in what they wear each day. It can be whatever they like or choose between two outfits you choose. This gives them confidence in making decisions within a boundary you are comfortable with.

Thank you to everyone that came out to our 8th Annual BBQ for the kids. We definitely felt the love and appreciate this wonderful community that supports our mission.
