Join Conservation Fellow Susan Ballinger for a morning of bird monitoring at Horse Lake Reserve!

Since 2016, we’ve been tracking bird activity across 7 scenic spots—helping protect vital nesting habitat for 40+ species after past wildfires.

All skill levels are welcome 💚
- Expect a 5.3-mile hike (beautiful views included!)
- Surveys run from 6–11 AM

-Pruning

Saturday, June 20th, 2026
4 pm - 8 pm
620 Lewis St.

In partnership with Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, CAFÉ is promoting access to the outdoors. Our resource fair aims to demystify the outdoors and remove barriers for community access to outdoor spaces through information and resource sharing.

At this P&M, we will have:
-music by a local DJ
-Free food for the first 200 people
-Kid’s Market
-The first 150 kids receive a free $10 token to use on our Kids’ Market

Join us and the Community for the Advancement of Family Education (CAFE) at the Pachanga y Mercadito focused on Environmental Justice.

We will have trail access information, L&I workshop, farmworker supplies, food, music, resources, vendors, kids' market, and more for the whole family!

The first 150 kids will receive a $10 token to spend at the CAFE market, full of fresh produce.

🌿🌱Help us protect our foothills and our region of noxious w**ds through this informative, hands-on workshop led by Chelan Noxious W**d Board staff, Adam Pfleeger and Jenna Medlar, as guest speakers.

Learn the noxious w**d laws, best management practices, and identification of common noxious w**ds. We will then conduct a site tour to explore a variety of land management techniques for hands-on learning. All participants will receive a FREE w**d identification booklet and other handouts.
