Sorry all...there might have been some confusion with the 2 different emails sent out this week. One was specific to pre-flight orientation and the other a monthly news letter.
1. If you have been in contact with one of our amazing volunteers; been told about the flight and have recieved a confirmation email from me.... you're locked in for the fall flight. You should have also received a reminder email about pre-flight orientation attendance.
2. I send out monthly newsletters to keep everyone informed. We have a backlog of veterans and volunteers that want to hear about events, status, etc. Many ask did I get picked for the flight? So, its a blanket statement to let you know if we haven't called or verified information you're still in cue for the next flight.
Unfortunately theres only so many hours in the day to make and return calls especially when you work full time (not with Honor Flight) and volunteers for other positions.
