Have you seen me? I’ve been removed from my stump and the gnome collective is unhappy about it!

If you see me, please return me to the Millstone Garage (at the Brook st trail head) so I can be placed back in my happy forest spots.

The Millstone summer sunset (and maybe moonrise) hikes are back! We'll have our first one June 27- gather at the 44 Brook Street garage around 7:30 and head out by 7:45 for a leisurely hike up to the Grand Lookout. We'll have treats to share as we watch the sun go down and if we're lucky, we may see the Strawberry moon rising on the way back. There is no cost, and all are welcome.

It's here! Registration is now open for the 2026 MTA Summer Trail Series. Our 2026 MTB/trail run/walk series features weekly loops through the Barre Town forest, perfect for discovering new areas of our trail system. Just a reminder that we are holding a trail work day this Sunday. Hope to see you for a good time out in the woods. No experience is necessary, families are welcome, and we have all the tools. We're looking forward to our first trail work day this Sunday, and hope to see you too. But, if you can't make it, we have another option: Adopt-a-Trail. Pick out your favorite trail and monitor it on your own schedule.
