Hey Guys!

We want to take a minute and observe all of our military members that have passed while serving our country. As a veteran owned business, we will always take time to remember the members of the armed forces that have passed. This weekend is the unofficial start to summer. Have fun with your family and friends and never forget.

We will have some changes to our Memorial Day Monday schedule. Due to the holiday, we will be postponing Yoga and Swim. Yoga and swim will resume the following Monday.

We are moving our 5:30am Hyrox class to 8am. This will be a fun strength session with a little running. Bring a friend or family member for free and let's have some fun!

Hey Guys!

We are finally getting some good rain in our area so it may be time to start taking advantage of more indoor training. Don't miss a workout due to rain if you can come and spin indoors at the Powerhouse.

Hyrox News: We will be hosting a monthly Hyrox 1/2 Simulation on the last Saturday of every month. For details please see our event on our Powerhouse page. This will be a good time to try the sport and see what it's all about or a good time to practice as partners or relay. Hey guys!

We had a crazy busy and successful April. We witnessed a lot of inspirational racing and training. Thank you all for trusting us with your goals and fitness. The next few months should be a lot of fun with plenty of short course Triathlons and some new Hyrox training. We are onboarding a few new athletes to our group. Please introduce yourself if you see a new face and welcome them to our Powerhouse Family.

Hyrox:We will start hosting a monthly 1/2 Race simulation one Saturday a month to help prepare you for your next big event. This SIM will be open to everyone so please help us spread the word. More details to come.

40 Miles from the New Powerhouse "Manvil" - MapMyRide

Hey guys!

We are coming off a super successful week of racing at Ironman Texas and the Boston marathon. Huge shout out to Leonard and Charles for completing their first Ironman and Coach Shawn for nailing down a 1:45 PR on the course. Thank you to everyone that came out to cheer.

We want to make sure that we are not forgetting our runners taking on Boston, London and Oklahoma this week and this weekend. Make sure you congratulate Lynda Sandivol for completing Boston. This is not an easy race to get into, but she applied herself to about 2 years of training to get this opportunity. Congratulations Lynda! Good luck to Mellisa Bestik at the London marathon. This will be Melissa's 4th major! Jack and Jennifer Harlson are headed to OKC for the full marathon and half. Good luck everyone!

MS 150 is this weekend, and we want to wish all the riders a safe and fun ride. Come and see coach Johnny at aid station 5 on the route. Coach Johnny will be working the stop as a mechanic for REI Baybrook. Stop by and say hi!

This is a big weekend for us. We are excited to have 4 of our athletes toeing the line at Ironman Texas Saturday April 18 th in the Woodlands. The weather looks decent and we are hoping to see 3 new athletes complete their first Ironman distance race. Good luck David, Charles, Leonard and Coach Shawn. You have put in all the long hours and now it's time to see the fruit of all your hard work. We can't wait to see you cross that finish line and hear these words. "YOU ARE A IRONMAN!"

Hey Guys!
We had a crazy busy weekend with Powerhouse Racers nailing down PR's, Podium finishes and a handful of first timers at Hyrox Houston and Galveston 70.3. Huge shout out to Terry Winkler for grabbing his 70.3 Worlds Slot by placing 3rd in his division. Everyone did amazing! We are some very tired but happy coaches. Wow! What a weekend!!!!

Hyrox News: We are adding some new turf to the studio so that we can start offering more Hyrox simulations weekly. The schedule of simulations will be coming soon. Our main workout equipment is now in the back of the studio so the front will be nice and open. The new black turf looks great. We hope to see you soon.

Note: Due to the Easter Holiday we will postpone our ride to next Sunday but the studio will be available for open spin. Contact Coach Johnny.

Hey Guys!
It's race week and we are super excited to watch and cheer for you all. We will be in two places this weekend. The Galveston 70.3 and Hyrox Houston are both happening on Sunday! It has been very rewarding for the coaching staff to see everyone get stronger and stronger. We can't wait to see you cross that finish line. Good luck everyone, you're ready!

This year we were asked to do the coaching talks at the Galveston 70.3 expo. Coach Johnny will be discussing the swim and strength training. Coach Andrea will be doing a talk on race day nutrition. Our good friend Yunior Romero will be doing the entire athlete briefing for the Spanish speaking athletes. Please see the event talk dates and times below. We would love to see you at the expo. This year our Powerhouse and Patriots tent will be set up in the Ironman village. Send coach Johnny and text if you can't find us 281-787-8285.

Open Water Swim Clinic.
We will host an Open Water swim clinic with Coach Shawn next Saturday March 21st at Twin Lakes in Manvel 10am. 19230 Manvel TX 77578. Bring your wetsuit, swim buoy and questions.

Hyrox SIM.
Hyrox Simulation will be March 21st at the Powerhouse. Singles will go off first at 6:30am. Please contact Coach Johnny for more details. Non-Powerhouse members cost will be $30
