📖 Tafseer at ASIA Center

Tonight at ASIA Center, we gathered for our Tafseer class as we completed our final review of Surah Āl ʿImrān.

Before diving into our study, we shared a delicious dinner together featuring biryani lovingly prepared by our own Brother Taher and his family. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy good food and fellowship before turning our attention to the Qur’an.

After completing our review of Surah Āl ʿImrān, we also had a preview of the next surah we’ll be studying: Surah An-Nisāʾ.

Our Tafseer class is a place to go beyond simply reading the words—to explore their meaning, context, lessons, and how they apply to our lives today. We meet every Tuesday, between Maghrib and Isha, and the class is free to attend.

Whether you’re new to studying Tafseer or have been studying the Qur’an for years, we invite you to join us next week as we begin our study of Surah An-Nisāʾ.

What does “Islamification of Texas” actually mean? 🤔

In this video, Jennah, Dawah Coordinator at ASIA Center, addresses the myth behind the phrase and shares what ASIA Center is really about: opening our doors to the entire community — Muslims and non-Muslims alike. 🤝

We want ASIA Center to be a place where our neighbors can come, learn, ask questions, build connections, and simply get to know one another.

Throughout the year, we host community classes on topics that go beyond religion — including gardening 🌱, car maintenance 🚗, sewing 🧵, resume building 💼, and more!

We also host our monthly Open House, where each discussion is designed around a different professional community — including teachers, law enforcement, medical professionals, educators, and others — exploring how Muslims and these professionals can better understand and serve one another.

You don't have to be Muslim to join us. You just have to be willing to come through the door. ❤️

Why You MUST Listen to Your Child

Our children need more than rules and instructions — they need to know that their parents are willing to listen.
