Congratulations to Sarah Holicky (Barb Holicky) gaining the title of 2022-2023 Miss Czech Slovak MN1st Princess last night! A true promoter of her Czech heritage starting at age 5; she has transitioned from 7 years on the Domaci dance stage to an Ambassador for the state of MN. Sarah was one of our first dancers along with her cousin Emilie McDonough (Deb Trcka) who just recently got married last fall. Congrats to the both of you, pictured here in 2003, the first year as Domaci Czech Folk Dancers.

It is with saddened hearts we share the sudden loss of one of our Alumni Kailey Mach in a tragic house explosion yesterday. Kailey was a beautiful young woman with a loving heart and outgoing spirit. She was also a great Ambassador of her heritage. Kailey was not only a Jr Director of our Domaci Czech Dancers, a member for 6 years, but also a Jr Royalty Ambassador. Attached is a snapshot Tribute of her experiences with us. She promoted her heritage in many venues and states, and shared smiles and laughs with all the members as well as those we entertained.
Kailey - we are so blessed to have met you. Thank you for your friendship and sharing with us your love of heritage and life. We will miss you! Our thoughts prayers to your family and friends at this difficult time.

The new year is well on its way.
We were honored to have had the opportunity to give a piece of heritage to the next generation while sharing with others. Thank you Suel Printing for publishing our final good bye.
