Domácí Czech Folk Dancers Dancers promoting Czech traditions through music, dance and song. Instructors trained in the Czech Republic, dances performed with traditional choreography

Children’s Group: ages 5 to 12. Junior Group: ages 13 to 19.

• Vocabulary & singing as well as dances learned.
• Practices and performances primarily in summer months.
• Partners are not needed
• Traditional choreography
• Practicesheld monthly
• Performances vary year round.
• Majority of folk dress imported from Southern Bohemia. Performances may include:
• Montgomery Kolacky Days
• New Pragu

e Dozinky
• Montgomery Masopust (Czech Mardi Gras)
• Christmas programs
• Nursing home performances
• Folk dress costumes will be supplied by the Group for each member.
• Accessories need to be purchased/owned by each member – such as headpieces, footwear, etc.
