This came from a family who comes here often to get help. Thank you from all of us here at the outreach center.
Dear St. Mary’s Food Pantry & Clothing Closet Team,
I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your kindness, compassion, and continued service to families in our community. Your food pantry and clothing closet have been such a tremendous blessing, providing not only essential resources like food and clothing but also dignity, comfort, and relief during difficult seasons of life.
During times of hardship—whether through loss of employment, reduced work hours, underemployment, or simply trying to stretch a paycheck that no longer covers basic needs—support like yours makes a real and meaningful difference in our community. Many working parents are doing everything they can just to keep up with rising rent or mortgage costs, higher grocery prices, increased gas and transportation expenses, utility bills, childcare costs, and the everyday essentials that continue to climb. In the midst of these real and ongoing challenges, the assistance you provide helps families remain stable and grounded during uncertain times, and serves as a powerful reminder that no one is alone or forgotten in their struggle.
I especially want to give deep appreciation to your volunteers. Their dedication, time, and willingness to serve others with such humility and consistency do not go unnoticed. They are often the first smiling faces people see when they walk through the door, and they carry out their work with patience, kindness, and genuine care. Whether they are stocking shelves, organizing clothing, packing food boxes, or simply offering a warm greeting and a listening ear, their service brings comfort and dignity to every family they encounter. It is clear that they serve not just out of duty, but out of heart, and that makes a powerful difference.
The care, respect, and sincerity shown by your entire team truly stand out. Every interaction feels thoughtful and intentional, creating an environment where people feel seen, valued, and supported—not just assisted. That level of compassion is rare and deeply appreciated.
We are especially grateful for how you consistently show up to serve the community through both the food pantry and clothing closet. Your generosity provides practical help, but it also brings encouragement, hope, and stability when it is needed most.
We are deeply grateful for everything you do. Your commitment to serving others is a light in the community, and your kindness has a lasting impact on families like ours. Thank you for your dedication, your servant hearts, and for making sure help is available with dignity and compassion.
