The Wayland Children and Parents Association (WCPA) is a community organization that helps bring families with young children together for fun, education and support. The Wayland Children and Parents Association (WCPA) was founded in 1995 to provide our community with an organization that would bring families with young children together for fun, education and support. The WCPA benefits Wayland

families by promoting social interactions and by sponsoring educational and fundraising events. We recognize that it can be difficult to get to know other families with young children in any community, so we offer programs that provide parents and children the opportunity to establish new friendships, explore area resources and get more involved with the community. Whether you have just moved to Wayland or have been here for a few years, we welcome you to participate in the fun by joining the WCPA.

WCPA NEEDS YOU 💙 As many of our longtime board members transition out next year, we have a BIG need for new board members starting this September.

WCPA is entirely volunteer-run, and everything from our family events and playgroups to adult socials and seasonal traditions happens because local parents step up and get involved.

Whether you love planning events, organizing behind the scenes, or just want to become more connected in the community — there’s truly a role for everyone. The “lift” can be whatever works for your stage of life and schedule.

Calling all Wayland dads! 🍻 Wayland Dads has been a longtime part of our community — from the beloved Father Daughter & Son Breakfasts at Mel’s Diner to the weekend drop-in play at Loker that helps families get through those long winter months.

Now, after 12 years, the group is looking toward its next chapter and inviting dads with young kids to help shape the future of Wayland Dads 2.0.
