Latest update on our sweet little friend, Regina. 💜🙏🏻💜🙏🏻💜

11/5/26 - Chemo Update

Regina made it through yesterday’s chemotherapy treatments well! Thank you, Lord! 💜

She has gotten sick to her stomach this morning, so please pray for her nausea!

Now she is receiving strong medications that will help protect her bladder during treatments. These meds are especially tough on her little body, so please keep praying for her!

Regina will have more chemo today and tomorrow, followed by IV fluids to help flush the chemo meds out of her system. She is also scheduled for another treatment next Wednesday.

Please pray that she continues to tolerate these treatments well, that her mind and little body stay strong, and that she is spared from difficult side effects.

We are so thankful for every bit of good news and for every single one of you who stands beside her. Your prayers and comments are a great encouragement! 💜

Weaver Tower at Wolfson Children's Hospital has some pretty special commodities, and we’re asking everyone to join us in praying for all of them.

This sweet baby starts another round of chemo tomorrow too!! 🙏🏻💜🙏🏻💜🙏🏻

11/3/26 - A Reminder to Pray for Regina! 💜

Sweet Regina is scheduled for another round of chemotherapy tomorrow, November 4th.

Please keep this precious girl in your prayers as she continues to get treatment. Pray for strength, healing, protection from complications, and peace for her family.

10/28/26 - CHEMO PUSH & BLOODWORK

Regina’s doctors have decided to postpone her next round of chemotherapy for another week! With all the vomiting and diarrhea she has been experiencing, starting treatment today would put her at greater risk.

We are so thankful her doctors are giving her little body more time to recover! 💜

And let’s praise the Lord for Regina’s bloodwork today! Her ANC has climbed to 3,300! Her hemoglobin is 12.2! And her platelets are up to 139…such encouraging improvements from where she was just days ago! 💜

Please continue praying for relief from her tummy troubles and that this extra week will help her regain strength before chemotherapy begins again.

Thank You, Lord, for watching over our sweet Regina!

In the cancer world, things change quickly, and often. So many symptoms to navigate through. As if it’s not enough being sick from infection, continuing the much needed treatment plan brings the threat of more unknowns and issues of its own. 😕
Cancer has no limits, no boundaries, no prejudice, and no mercy.
Please, continue to pray for Regina and her family, as well as the medical team!! 🩷🙏🏻🩷

10/26/26 - CHEMO CHANGE

There’s been a change in Regina’s chemo schedule. Her next treatment has been moved up to this Wednesday, the 28th.

They will access her port at the clinic Wednesday morning and do bloodwork there. From there, she will go to the hospital to be admitted and begin chemo the same day.

Right now, her little body is already fighting SO hard. Her tummy is in very rough shape while she is battling this aggressive gut infection. Doctors are working to kill that bacteria while trying to keep her from vomiting up her feeding tube so she can continue getting the nutrition she desperately needs.

At the same time, her body is working full time to bring her platelets back up and keep the rest of her bloodwork steady.

So, understandably, hearing that chemo is sooner than expected is a bit of a blow. Regina is dealing with a lot at one time and looking at adding chemo in just a couple of days.

Please pray this infection clears, and that her stomach settles so her tube stays down. Pray that her platelets and other numbers strengthen and that her body is ready for Wednesday.

Mainly guys, please just pray the Lord will continue to carry her through every bit of this...and her family too.

Alright, devil, we’ve had enough!! 😠😤 And we decree and declare right now in the name of Jesus that this harassment and hinderances that you’re causing STOP NOW, in the mighty name of JESUS!!! Take your hands OFF of this baby. She IS HEALED by the stripes of Jesus Christ that were bore upon His body, for her, and you are trespassing. We bind you up now in the name of Jesus and we decree and declare HEALING and WHOLENESS over Regina right now. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word for her and we come against you, Satan, and your plans with the mighty and powerful name of Jesus!! Be gone NOW, in Jesus name!!! AMEN!!!

Will you agree with us on behalf of Regina and her family that these struggles and hinderances leave her body now, and that she be able to receive and retain the nutrients she needs, in Jesus name!!!

10/23/26 - FEEDING TUBE

Poor sweet Regina. 💔 She threw up her new feeding tube. They’ve given her some medicine to help calm her so they can place another one.

Please pray that the vomiting will stop. She needs to be able to keep the formula down so her little body can get the nutrition it desperately needs, and to keep all of her medicines down.

Please keep lifting this precious girl up in prayer. Pray this new tube stays in, her stomach settles, and her body can finally hold onto the nutrients and medicine it needs. 💜

This school and these sweet people will FOREVER hold the most special place in our hearts. 🥰 They have walked with us during some of the darkest days of our lives and have always been there. 🥹🩷
Even though we’re no longer under the same roof, they’ll always been in our hearts!! 💕
We are so very appreciative of the support this staff and these kiddos extend to Mattie’s Mission year after year!!

During Childhood Cancer Awareness month, our school had a lemonade stand with all proceeds going to Mattie’s Mission. Mattie Goble was a former Hawk who bravely fought a battle no one should ever have to endure. Today, Mrs. Tina Goble (former fifth grade teacher) and her son Tate stopped by for us to present them with a check. We are honored to support the work Mattie’s Mission does in our community.

Not the update that we wanted to read this morning, but doesn’t change our trust in the Mighty Physician. We will continue to pray and believe the Lord for a touch from Him to Regina’s body, wisdom and guidance for the medical team, and His peace to flood Regina and her family!!
