We are a memory care outreach organization serving Waycross and the surrounding area to be a source of support and comfort to those affected by a memory loss disease through education, outreach, resources, and healing. Our mission at A Day to Remember is to be a source of support and comfort to those affected by a memory loss disease through:
Education: Memory loss diseases bring about questions
and uncertainty because it affects each person differently. We offer informational programs for the community, families, and care facilities. Outreach: We are a source of moral support & reassurance for families, caregivers, & sufferers who are experiencing the uncertainties of the memory loss journey. Our volunteers will meet with families and caregivers to provide individual family guidance and information. Resources: Our volunteer's area liaison between families and local medical providers, long care facilities, counseling services, and other support resources. This networking enables families to find the best care more effectively. Healing: Often overlooked is dealing with grief after losing a loved one to a memory loss disease. We recognize this need and help families & caregivers find support for healing & comfort.
