🏀 WYBC BASKETBALL – BRING A FRIEND!🏀
We want to personally invite all of our returning basketball families to join us again for another exciting season of learning, competing, traveling, and having fun!
Last season, we had an amazing group of players and families who helped make WYBC such a special program. We would love to see those familiar faces back on the court this year—and we want to grow our program even more!
🏀 BRING A FRIEND!
Does your child have a friend, teammate, classmate, or neighbor who might be interested in basketball?
👉 Encourage them to sign up too!
The more players we have, the more opportunities we have to build strong teams, create great competition in practice, and compete against schools from around the area.
Your child does NOT have to be an experienced basketball player to join!
Whether they are continuing to develop their skills or just getting started, WYBC is a great place to:
🏀 Learn the game
🏀 Build basketball skills
🏀 Make new friends
🏀 Compete
🏀 Have fun!
🏆 TRAVEL TEAM BASKETBALL
Boys & Girls – Grades 3rd–8th**
🏀 Season: Early November–February
🏀 Practices: 2–3 times per week starting in November
🏀 Weekend travel games, typically Saturdays, during December, January & February
🏀 Teams organized by grade level
🏀 Competitive league play against other schools
Registration: $100 per player Includes the Saturday Morning Basketball League.
🏀 SATURDAY MORNING BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Boys & Girls – Grades 3rd–6th
The Saturday Morning League is mandatory for all 3rd–6th grade travel players** and is a great way to start the season.
📅 October 31, November 7, 14 & 21
📍 Waupaca High School
Players will stay on the same team throughout the four weeks. Each Saturday will include a short instructional/skill warm-up followed by games.
It's a great opportunity for new players to experience basketball in a fun, supportive environment while returning players continue working on their fundamentals.
League Only: $40 per player
👨👩👧 PARENT VOLUNTEERS
WYBC is a community program, and our families play an important role in making it successful. Parents will be expected to volunteer for concession stand or admission booth shifts when we host games.
💙 FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
We believe every child should have the opportunity to play basketball. Scholarships are available for families with demonstrated financial need.
Families who qualify under the free or reduced lunch guidelines of the National School Lunch Program may qualify.
🚨 DON'T WAIT TO REGISTER!
Early registration helps us determine how many players we have at each grade level and allows us to build the best teams possible.
And remember—BRING A FRIEND! 🙌
Talk to another family. Invite a classmate. Encourage a teammate to give WYBC a try.
The more kids who get involved, the better our teams and our program become
