Hey basketball parents!

Is your young athlete ready to take their game to the next level this summer?

Get ready to elevate their skills with the Scott Anderson Training Camp! This is an incredible opportunity for both boys and girls, currently in grades 3rd through High School, to develop their basketball abilities under the expert guidance of Coach Scott Anderson.

Coach Anderson brings years of experience coaching high school basketball players right here in Stevens Point, WI. He’s dedicated to teaching the fundamental skills that are essential for success on the court, and your child will benefit immensely from his instruction.

Important Note: There are only 30 spots available per session, so make sure to sign up quickly to secure your child’s place!

Here are the details for the upcoming sessions:

All sessions will be held at Waupaca High School on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Waupaca 5th and 6th grade Youth Football

Community members:

The Waupaca Youth Basketball Club has a few openings on its Board for the upcoming 2026-27 season. We are looking for people who have a passion for the sport and want to help grow the game at the youth level.

The positions require someone to participate in monthly meetings and help organize the next season for all youth teams. In addition to discussing and voting on issues as part of the board, you will be asked to serve on a committee, put in the time to set up or take down before or after a tournament, or help distribute, collect, and inventory uniforms. Board meetings are monthly, typically on a Sunday or Wednesday evening.

If anyone is interested in applying, please email [email protected] by April 30. The Board will review all applications and vote on the new members at our meeting on May 3. You will be contacted shortly after. If you are selected, your participation will begin at our June meeting.

To help the board make the best-informed decision possible, please include anything you think would make you a positive addition. This might include any specialized skills you have, experience with basketball, or experience on other boards or committees.
