STAR Charities STAR Charities is a not-for-profit organization created to help various community causes, providing assistance through education and donations.

STAR Charities is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to vigilantly review community causes and subsequently provide assistance through education and donations. STAR, which stands for Sharing Time and Resources, was registered as a charitable foundation in 2003 by Progressive Components in Wauconda, IL, and is a volunteer-run organization. STAR works each year to bring much-needed food,

clothing and other necessities to those less fortunate by working with local food pantries and schools. STAR also donates to larger charities such as the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Because STAR is a registered foundation, your contribution is 100% tax deductible (receipt available upon request). Our not-for-profit tax ID is #56-2389938. Monetary donations are accepted via the following formats: checks can be made out to “Sharing Time and Resources (STAR)” and mailed to 235 Industrial Drive, Wauconda, IL 60084; electronic donations can be made through our website, www star-charities.org/donate.

May's donations supported Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago and Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago as both charities were near and dear to one of our valued employees. Last month, our team came together in a very special way, and each organization will receive a $2,500 donation to continue their important work in the community.
