Congratulations to the officers and members, their parents, and the advisory board of Compassionate Assembly No. 121, on their Installation as the newest Assembly of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls!! It has been a long process to get here and I want you to know how very proud we are of all of you in your pursuit to get here.

To the young women, who hold the distinction of being the founding members of this Assemby, you are ALL truly amazing!!! Your commitment and dedication to the principles of this organization are inspiring. From the early day of this process, you were given the tasks of framing this Assembly and cheif among the tasks related to that process you were asked to come up with a name for your Assembly; unanimously, and almost immediately, you came back to advisory board resolute in your selection... Compassionate. There is no question in the minds of anyone who has the honor and privilege of being around you girls, and seeing how you present yourselves in your engagement with the communities to which you belong, or the good and kindly charitable work you do in those communities... "Compassionate" is not only perfectly accurate for your assembly, it is immutablely the lifesong of each and every one of you.

You are all the embodiment of the principles and tenets of this institution. The fraternal bond of sisterhood that you share is inspiring, even unto an old Mason like me. You are the future of this Nation, and this world... and I could not imagine a more duty bound group of servant leaders to exemplify the hope and driving force for this task than the members and young leaders of the masonic youth groups, like Rainbow and DeMolay to herald this charge.

It warms my heart to present you here to the world stage ... on behalf of your parents and families, the members and officers of your advisory board, the Supreme Assembly of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, Grand Assemblyof the State of Illinois, the communities you serve, and perhaps most importantly, your sisters in the IORG from across this jurisdiction and around the world ... we present the founding members of Compassionate Assembly No. 121, may you always and continue to be the light and spirit that guides us all to a better world.

Busy weekend for the girls starting Friday night. Some of the girls assisted OES Elect Lady Chapter with trunk or treat. Saturday was our fun meeting where we made the final decoration decisions for our float. Today Sunday we participated in Effingham Rotary Parade.
