It is with heavy heart that I write this post. Fostering Hope is closing their doors effective immediately. DCFS has started a program that places bags with the children similar to what we were doing.
The items we have left are being donated to El Shaddai Maternity Home, Enduring Freedom Ministries, Matthew 25:40 Foster Ministry and the Altamont Grade School Clothes Closet. What money that is left in the account will stay for the time being. I still have caseworkers call needing specific things for the kids.

We have helped a ton of kids in foster care. At Christmas time we donated 22 pajamas to the Angel tree in Kirby IGA.

I am saddened to see this end but so thankful for all the foster kids we’ve helped. Thank you so much for all your donations and support!!!

We also want to thank everyone that has brought a bag of items or clothes in. We truly appreciate each and everyone! At this time we are stocked up on items and clothes. I will post again when we need specific items or sizes! Thank you again!!!

Thank you to Meagan and her crew! They sent over a box filled with baby shampoo and body wash and an assortment of pacifiers. Already have had to use 2 body wash bottles. 😔

A huge thank you to New Hope Church! They delivered 6 bags filled with pajamas of all sizes, underwear, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes and pacifiers! So very much appreciated and needed!!!!

Hello everyone!

Due to kids going back to school we are starting to see an increase in kids coming into care. If anyone can help out we are starting to run low on some supplies.

Items needed:
Toddler toothbrushes
Toothpaste prefer smaller tubes
Baby shampoo - prefer smaller bottles
Baby wash - prefer smaller bottles
Toddler/small child shampoo/body wash
Pacifiers
Pajamas all sizes

We have a need! I was contacted by a foster mom yesterday that recently received a foster child. She is in need of summer clothes, jeans and leggings. She needs size 10/12. I went through what I have that has already been donated but it’s very limited. Can anyone help?!?? Let me know! Thank you!!!!!
