The first VASSARAIOI (immigrants from the village of VASSARA in Southern Peloponnes, Greece) who settled in the Boston area at the end of the year 1901 and decided to establish the
VASSARA SOCIETY OF BOSTON,
a benevolent, nonprofit organization headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.
