The Cedar Valley Soccer Officials Association is holding a USSF First Time Referee Clinic on Saturday August 1st , 2026.

Do NOT use your phone for this – use a computer or laptop!

· Attend the In Person session
o Cedar Falls First Time Referee Clinic: August 1, 2026, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

You should complete the online modules before the in-person session.
Bring a notebook and pen, whistle and AR flags (if you have them).
Pizza Lunch will be provided, courtesy of the Cedar Valley Soccer Club.

The candidate must complete all the online modules AND attend the in-person session in order to be certified as a USSF Referee.

CVSC is proud to offer our annual summer camp! At the 2026 CVSC Summer Camp, players will receive technical training from CVSC staff coaches, play small-sided games, and finish each session in a game-like scrimmage. During the camp, all players will work on 1v1 skills, ball quickness, shooting, passing and receiving skills, and small group tactics they will retain for the upcoming years.

Just a reminder: SCHEELS CVSC Recreational League for Fall 2026 registration deadline is July 22, 2026. PLEASE REGISTER YOUR KIDS ASAP!!!

The Cedar Valley Recreational Program is designed for players who want to discover and explore the game of soccer. This program provides an opportunity for all grassroots players who want to play organized soccer in a fun and safe environment. The Cedar Valley Rec Program is one of the largest, oldest, and most affordable recreational soccer programs in the state of Iowa. The program encompasses players/teams from 14 communities in the Cedar Valley area.
Playing in the SCHEELS CVSC Recreational League helps build a love for the game and teaches soccer basics to players 1st through 8th grade. All registrants are placed on teams in their home communities (if possible) through random distribution, rather than being placed based on ability or commitment. Teams are coached by parent volunteers. They will play league games in the Fall and Spring, all in the local Cedar Valley area, and they also have the option to participate in the local year-ending Cedar Valley Cup Tournament (June).
