HomeLab is an innvoative way to help Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity "level up" their offerings, not only to their homebuyers, but also the Greater Cedar Valley! Our staff enjoyed attending the open house and plan to sign up for sessions once they open to the public.

Downtown Waterloo has undergone significant transformation over the past decade, from the makeover of the 4th Street Bridge to new businesses and development projects.

Surprise again! The BHCGA Board of Directors recently made another discretionary grant, this time to the Youth Art Team in honor of Eric Ritland.

Eric is finishing his second term (6th year) on the BHCGA Board. His expertise as an architect has helped inform decisions on blueprints and plans presented with many of our capital grants. He also believes in the importance of empowering youth to pursue talents, and referenced his experience with art as a kid informing his career path. Let's hear it for Eric!
