Still Their Father

When a baby dies, support often surrounds mothers.

Most often, somewhere in that room is a father carrying unimaginable loss too.

The father answering calls.
The father signing paperwork.
The father quietly waiting for what is next.
The father holding everyone together while quietly breaking himself.

We know fathers deserve support, acknowledgment, memory making, and space to grieve too.

Because they are parents too.

This year we are beginning conversations leading up to Bereaved Fathers Day.
Because fathers matter. Their babies matter. Their grief matters.

Together we can help many fathers not feel so alone.

For Loving Benjamin, perinatal bereavement care means walking beside families through some of the most heartbreaking moments of their lives with compassion, dignity, and unwavering support.

It means making sure no family feels forgotten after the loss of their baby.

We do this work because grief after pregnancy and infant loss is often invisible. Families are expected to leave the hospital with empty arms or a box of baby items, while the world continues moving around them. Many parents feel isolated, unsupported, and unsure where to turn next. Loving Benjamin exists to help change that experience.

Perinatal bereavement care through Loving Benjamin looks like:

🩷Providing comfort care and memory-making items
❤️Supporting families during labor, delivery, and postpartum loss
🧡Offering bereavement doula support and advocacy
💛Helping families create tangible memories of their baby
💚Connecting families with community resources and support
🩵Educating providers and communities on compassionate loss care
💜Creating spaces where grief can be acknowledged openly and honestly

We believe every baby matters, no matter how brief their life was.
We believe every family deserves to have their baby remembered.
And we believe compassionate care can leave a lasting impact, even in the middle of unimaginable loss.

Loving Benjamin does this work because families deserve more than sympathy, anybody can give sympathy, these families .....they deserve support, remembrance, and people willing to walk through grief alongside them.
