We need you! 🫶🏼 If you’ve been wondering how you can help support kiddos in care and the families caring for them, this is a great way to lend a hand! We have several volunteer spots still open for Saturday, October 24th.

Our fall fundraiser is quickly approaching, and we’re getting so excited to see it come together. We would love for you to be a part of it!

Update: the need has been met! ❤️❤️

We’ve been made aware of a local family caring for kiddos whom has a specific, immediate need, and we’re hoping to help raise the $600 needed to meet it. 🤍

We’re keeping their circumstances private, but any donations designated for this request will go directly to helping this family.

What a wonderful opportunity for foster families in our community! 💛

Bethany Christian Church hosts Foster Front Porch, a time for foster parents to connect, find encouragement, and receive support from others who understand the journey.

This month’s gathering will focus on caregiver stress and practical ways to care for yourself while caring for others. Foster parents will also receive two hours of face-to-face training credit!

🍽️ Dinner and childcare provided!

All foster parents are welcome, regardless of church affiliation! Please see the flyer for RSVP details.

If you’re caring for a child through foster care, kinship care, guardianship, reunification, or an open DCS in-home case, Foster Landing is here for you.

You don’t have to be in a crisis. You don’t have to be struggling financially. And you don’t have to wonder if someone else “needs it more.”

These resources were given for you to use.

Foster Landing exists because our community wants to come alongside children and the families caring for them.

People give clothing. Churches and groups collect diapers and hygiene items. Families donate beds and baby gear. Businesses and friends give financially. Volunteers spend hours sorting, folding, organizing, and preparing.

Why?

Because showing up for vulnerable children—and the families caring for them—matters. We want children to have what they need to feel secure, cared for, and able to thrive, and we want the families walking alongside them to feel supported too. For many of us, that desire is rooted in our faith and the simple call to love and serve our neighbors.

Foster Landing gets to be the bridge between a generous community and the families caring for these children.

So come when a new placement arrives. Come when they’ve grown into another size. Come when the seasons change, shoes don’t fit, or there are simply a few things that would be helpful.

Foster Landing isn’t intended to provide everything a child needs. We’re simply one of the resources available to come alongside your family as needs arise. And for children in foster care, we’re here throughout the life of the case.

Every donated coat, pair of shoes, crib, package of diapers, and carefully folded outfit represents someone in our community saying, “You don’t have to do this alone. We want to come alongside you.”

That’s what we want Foster Landing to be—a place where the generosity of our community becomes practical support for families, children are served with dignity, and families have a community helping them create the stability children need to grow and thrive.

So come see us. Let us walk alongside you.

We’re getting ready for Fall for Foster Landing: A Fall Social on Saturday, October 24, and we’re currently accepting donations for our raffle!

Every donated item helps make our fundraiser a success and supports Foster Landing as we continue serving local foster, kinship, and vulnerable families in our community. 🤍
