Peer Recovery Services Welcome to Peer Recovery Services! We are dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from substance use and mental health challenges.

Our team of certified peer recovery specialists, who have lived experience with addiction and recovery, offer compassionate, non-judgmental support and guidance.

ISO: 3-6 month baby clothes, wipes, size 2 Luvs diapers, Dr. Brown bottles, household items such as sheets, towels etc., and a gas stove. If anyone would like to donate these items for our clients we would really appreciate it. You can drop it off or we can pick it up. Thank you!! 😊

JOB OPENING

Daviess County Emergency Management has a job opening and is accepting applications for a part-time position for an Administrative Assistance. This part-time position is 14 hours per week. The hours could be flexible between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday but must have the ability to work nonstandard hours including attendance of evening meetings, training exercises and real emergencies as required. Must be able to pass a background check.

Job duties include but not limited to the following:
• Maintain records, forms, documents, reports or files using various computer software Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat PDF files and online forms.
• Must be able to use office equipment such as: printers, copiers, scanners, fax, telephone systems and specialized equipment in the office or Emergency Operations Center
• Maintain grant funding management requirements and applications.
• Meet and maintain all required certifications and training for the position within required time.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and coordination of disaster preparedness activities.
• Transcribe and record meeting minutes for various associations and committees that are supported and attended by the Emergency Management Agency.
• Must have the ability to work well with people from a variety of agencies, organizations, public officials or general public.
• The work environment outside of the office may include performing in adverse conditions such as: humidity, rain, odors, temperature extremes, bright or dim light during training exercises and real disaster events or emergencies.
• Must have the ability to travel with other Emergency Management personnel to regional meetings, training, exercises, or assist in real emergencies.
• Must have the ability work within high impact emergency situations timeframe.

While this is not a complete list of possible job duties or requirements, it is basic knowledge of the job performance required.
