The Pennsylvania Zeta chapter at Washington and Jefferson College gained its charter in 1979 as the first sorority on campus.

AUDREY KOUGH 🪽

Our final senior spotlight goes to Audrey Kough!! Audrey is a political science and communication arts major with a minor in gender and women studies. At W&J, she was a 3-year captain for the Women’s Swim Team, beta scholar, and a member of both SAAC and PRSSA, serving on the SAAC executive board for 3 years and the PRSSA executive board for 2 years. Audrey was also involved in Washington Fellows, Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha, Pi Gamma Mu, Pi Sigma Alpha, Lambda Pi Eta. She also received the Matthew Brown Ringland Prize in social sciences. She was also a link mentor for a year and worked at the Campus Store for 3 years. In Pi Phi, Audrey served as Chapter President, Vice President Recruitment, and Panhellenic Delegate, alongside being a member of LNC and MCC. She plans to take a gap year before pursuing a masters in political communication and is in the middle of searching for jobs in journalism. Audrey has also taken a job as a swim coach in Pittsburgh.

JEN BOOTH 🪽

Our next senior spotlight goes to Jen Booth!! Jen is a biology and psychology major. During her time at W&J, she received the Merk Scholarship for excellence in science and the Donald A. King Huntington’s Disease Society of America fellowship, did a research internship at the University of Pittsburgh, presented at the WVU Van Liere research poster session, received 3rd place in the pre-health summer poster competition, and has presented at 6 other poster sessions. Jen also received the Edwin Scott Linton prize for having the highest GPA in biology. She was involved in Order of Omega, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Beta Kappa, Psi Chi, Phi Sigma, Gamma Sigma Alpha, and Washington Fellows, alongside working as a student ambassador supervisor. She plans to take a gap year and then attend graduate school. In Pi Phi, Jen served as the Vice President Community Relations for two terms and the Director of Service and Philanthropy.
“My favorite Pi Phi memory was getting to live in the house with all of my best friends. Whether it was getting to live with my roommate Lekha, visiting everyone in the house to go hangout and yap with them, or porch sitting living in Pi Phi was so much fun and I will miss it so much!”

EMILY POLK 🪽

Our next senior spotlight goes to Emily Polk!! Emily is a biology major with a health and society major. At W&J, she worked as a lab preparatory assistant and lab assistant, alongside being in Order of Omega. In Pi Phi, she served as the Director of Service and Philanthropy and was also was a member of LNC and MCC. Emily is working at Canonsburg Hospital and plans to apply to PA School.
“My favorite memories were running Arrowbands ,living in a house with my best friends, and finding some of my best friends I will have for life.”

Our next senior spotlight goes to Mia Condosta! Mia is a political science and English major with a minor in Spanish. During her time at W&J, Mia served as the President of Franklin Literary Society, President of Sigma Tau Delta, Dining Chair of the Dining Committee, Class Representative in SGA, and a Student Ambassador at the Admissions House, alongside being on the Dean’s List every semester. She is also involved in Alpha Lambda Delta, Washington Fellows, Pre-Legal Society, Order of Omega, Pi Gamma Mu, Pi Sigma Alpha, Gamma Sigma Alpha, Phi Beta Kappa, and Sigma Delta Pi and is an alpha scholar. She has also received the William Holmes McGuffey prize in English, James Gillespie Blaine prize in political science, and is a two time recipient of the community values award. Mia plans to attend University of Akron School of Law. In Pi Phi, Mia served as the Vice President Member Experience for two terms and Director of Fraternity heritage.
“It’s so hard to pick just one, but I would say one of my all time favorite memories is just living in Pi Phi. Whether it was having the best roommate, to living next to my little, to all the late night talks by the sink, the time spent on the third floor and in the house will always be so special to me.”

Our next senior spotlight does to Maddie Meuser!! Maddie is a business major with an emphasis in marketing with a minor in communication arts. At W&J, she served as the marketing intern for W&J Dining. In Pi Phi, Maddie served as director of PR/Marketing and as a member of LNC, alongside serving on the Panhellenic Council as the Vice President of Programming. She plans to pursue a job in marketing.
“there’s so many memories to choose from, but some my favorites were porch sitting on a nice day, way too many dunkin runs, and living in a house full of my best friends!”

COURTNEY BOARDLEY 🪽

Our next senior spotlight goes to Courtney Boardley! Courtney is a political science and german major with a minor in English. At W&J, Courtney was involved in W&J College Democrats, Washington Fellows, Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Lambda Delta, Delta Phi Alpha, Alpha Alpha Alpha, Sigma Tau Delta, Gamma Sigma Alpha, and Order of Omega, was on the deans list for multiple semesters, and received the James Clyde McGregor Prize in Political Science. Courtney also served as the President of Pi Gamma Mu, the President of Pi Sigma Alpha, and the social media chair of Franklin Literary Society. She was also on the cheer team and in camerata singers. Courtney has taken a job as a Legal Secretary at the Public Defender’s Office. In Pi Phi, Courtney served as the Vice President Inclusion, Director of New Member Experience, and Director of Academics.

SYDNEY LANG 🪽

Our next senior spotlight goes to Sydney Lang! Sydney is a double major in neuroscience and chemistry with a minor in psychology. While attending W&J, she presented at the WVU Van Liere research poster session, a pre health summer poster competition, and the W&J PREX/Internship showcase. She also received the Merck Scholarship for excellence in science and was on dean list for multiple semesters. Sydney plans to pursue her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Duquesne University. During her time at Pi Phi, Sydney held the position of new member experience, along with serving on the panhellenic council as a Rho Gamma in Spring of 2026.
“My favorite pi phi memory was being a part of every single big/little. Between getting my big, getting my little, planning the event, or dressing up like Miley Cyrus’s dad- I am so grateful to be a part of this amazing group of women :) pi phi till I die phi!!”

During her time at Pi Phi, she served as the Vice President of Housing and the Director of Fraternity Heritage.
