250 snack packs. One incredible act of kindness. Countless moments of care.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the students and school community at Beauvoir – The National Cathedral Elementary School for assembling and donating 250 snack packs to Friendship Place's Welcome Center!

For our neighbors experiencing homelessness, something as simple as a snack can offer more than nourishment. It can be a reminder that someone in their community cares.

These students are learning something powerful: You don't have to be an adult to make a difference in someone's life.

To everyone at Beauvoir helped make this possible, thank you for putting kindness into action and showing our DC neighbors what community looks like!

A little Halloween joy can mean a lot. 🎃🍬

This week, we’re asking our Washington, DC community to help fill the trick-or-treat buckets at The Brooks with something every child deserves: a chance to simply have fun.

Friendship Place is collecting unopened, store-bought Halloween candy for children and families at The Brooks. A bag of chocolate, gummies, lollipops, or other favorite treats can help turn an ordinary October night into something exciting, festive, and memorable.

So while you’re picking up Halloween candy for your own home, please grab one extra bag for a child at The Brooks. Let’s give these kids a frightfully fun Halloween with plenty of treats to go around. 👻

Fang-tastic friends, we need your help making Halloween a little sweeter for children and families at The Brooks. 🎃🍬

We are collecting unopened, store-bought Halloween candy so children at The Brooks can enjoy a boo-tiful celebration filled with treats, smiles, and a little bit of childhood magic.

One bag of candy may feel small, but to a child waiting for Halloween, it can be part of a memory they hold onto for years.

If you are shopping this week, toss an extra bag or two into your cart and help us make sure these kids have plenty of treats waiting for them. 🦇

Help Friendship Place make Halloween in Washington, DC a little more fang-tastic for families rebuilding their lives.
