A calling deserves a pathway.

That’s why we’re so grateful for partners like Leadership Focus who are helping equip the next generation of pastors - not just to answer the call, but to be prepared to live it out.

Through our partnership, Trellis students have access to an ordination pathway as they pursue ministry.

We’re better together - and we’re excited about what God is doing through the next generation!

There is nothing quite like getting a front-row seat to what God is doing in and through our Trellis students! Check out this story from Nathanial, a Trellis resident in Ohio:

"I had the opportunity to join a team to Honduras and we got home on Sunday morning. While in country, I was often reminded of God’s presence in both the planned and unplanned. Both the big events and the small ones. One day on the trip, we had planned for a large gathering of kids to play games and teach about Jesus. During this time, I found myself drawn to a little girl who was sitting all by herself with a little white book. It turns out that this little white book was a copy of the New Testament and we spent the next hour reading it together.

While I planned to experience God in the crowds of kids, I found God on the outskirts of the large soccer field. Just another reminder that God is so good and leads us right where we need to be. He sees those who are sitting on the edge and sends his people to be with them. "

You can be called to ministry and still be uncertain.

You can be called to ministry and still be afraid.

You can be called to ministry and still have questions.

Throughout Scripture, many people responded to God's call with doubt before they responded with faith.

Feeling unsure doesn't mean you're not called.

It might mean you're human.

Share this with someone who needs the reminder.

Today we celebrate Juneteenth and reflect on the enduring themes of freedom, dignity, and hope.

During our recent Capstone Experience in Washington, D.C., students had the opportunity to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. These experiences challenged us to listen, learn, and grow as leaders.

As we honor this day, we’re grateful for the stories that continue to shape us and remind us of the value and dignity of every person.
