Grant County Champions is celebrating 10years of impactful progress in Awareness and Prevention. Congrats!

YOU'RE INVITED!

Our Drug-Free Communities Celebration will feature a networking hour from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. during which residents and professionals of Grant County will have the opportunity to meet regional partners who provide prevention services and resources to our community.

Networking hour will be followed by a lunch presentation to showcase our collective successes throughout the 10-year life cycle of the Drug-Free Communities Grant as well as an overview of how youth substance use prevention efforts will continue after the Drug-Free Communities Grant concludes on September 29, 2026.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED NO LATER THAN MONDAY AUGUST 10TH to ensure an accurate catering head count. Please be mindful and respectful that with the event two weeks before the grant closing date, we cannot afford to over or underestimate for food. INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE NOT REGISTERED WILL NOT BE ADMITTED INTO THE EVENT.

Research by Children’s Hospital of Orange County found that 24% of children feel “too busy all the time” and 61% “wish they had more time.” Children who are over scheduled are experiencing anxiety, fatigue, headaches, stomach-aches, sleep issues, and depression.
