A few months ago, Mrs Skidmore and I, decided to have a Celebration of Excellence for the GCMS kiddos chosen by teachers for a student/leader of the month award. Today we served Pizza and Ice Cream to the honored students! Also, pictured is GCHS student volunteers who pass out the food and drinks while making the students feel special.

Wow! We are prepping for HouseParty2.0 (SafeAlternative AfterProm) this Saturday April 22 following the prom. 11:00pm-3:00am at the GCHS gymnasium. We have an amazing night planned for the students thanks to our community partners and their support. Every student gets to spin the wheel of surprise. Also, all students will receive a SwagBag complete with an official HouseParty 2.0 t-shirt and a free pizza coupon courtesy of Hometown Pizza. Random gift cards and get this, one of the possibilities is 30seconds in the CashCube where cash and gift cards will be available. BackyardBounce Events classics: WildWest Shoutout, WipeoutGame, Mechanical Bull (YeeHaw!), Inflatable SkeeBall, and a 72foot obstacle course!

Grand prize drawings include a 65 inch television, a 55 inch television, a PlayStation five, Beats EarPods, Apple AirPods, a wireless Bluetooth speaker and many more items. The YSC is providing Jewell’s on Main for the students (Pretzel bites&Queso, chicken fingers, cheeseburger sliders), brownies, cookies, and Snappy Tomato Pizza!
We have a picture back drop with props, DJ DA will be playing music! I am prolly forgetting something. Its not too late to sign up nor donate prizes! Encourage your prom student to attend!!
