Healthcare access is about more than hospitals and clinics.

It’s also about:
✔ navigating systems
✔ transportation
✔ caregiver support
✔ community access
✔ connection

WILS helps bridge those gaps so rural residents can remain healthier, safer, and more independent.

Accessibility should include joy too. 😊

Whether it’s community outings, painting groups, holiday parties, or trying new things, WILS believes independence should include fun, creativity, and connection.

Because people deserve more than support.
They deserve joy.

Caregivers are often the quiet backbone of independence.

Behind many success stories is someone helping with meals, transportation, appointments, medications, encouragement, and daily life.

WILS is proud to support not only individuals with disabilities — but also the caregivers helping communities stay strong.

Independence does not mean doing life alone. At WILS, peer support is about more than activities and events. It’s about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and connected. Sometimes healing starts with laughter around a table and someone saying:
“Me too.”

At WILS, we help rural residents stay connected to support before small challenges become major crises because sometimes the biggest barriers don’t begin as emergencies. They can look like
📆A missed appointment
🧑‍🤝‍🧑An overwhelmed caregiver
⛓️‍💥A disconnected support system
🏡A neighbor unsure where to turn
Strong communities are built by helping people remain stable, connected, and independent. How can we support you?

Sometimes independence fits in the palm of your hand.
A magnifier.
A reacher tool.
A grab bar.
A communication device.
The right assistive technology can restore confidence, safety, and everyday freedom. At WILS, we believe small tools can create life-changing independence.

For many people with disabilities living in rural communities, isolation can feel heavy. Events like WILS weekly peer support paint group remind us that community is just as important as services. A shared laugh can be just as powerful as a resource list.

At WILS, we believe connection builds confidence — one conversation at a time. Join us Fridays at 10am. Paint supplies provided. https://ow.ly/3hbf50Z19At
