Thanks to Johnson County United Way for their support! With a $2500 check, we are able to continue to provide emergency housing every night of the year! In 2023 we served over 15 youth clients, who stayed a total of 62 nights at the refuge (always with a parent/guardian present)!

Help wanted: one or preferably two dynamic team members to staff overnights at the shelter. Training provided by our director and thriving current team, and full- or part-time is available. This is a great role for someone who wants to enrich the community and get paid for fulfilling work that is deeply needed. Also would be a good entry-level spot for someone looking to launch a career in this field.
