We'd also like to say thank you to our partners at Central Bank for helping bring the Missouri Boys State economy to life.

Throughout the week, citizens don't just learn about leadership and government, they participate in a fully functioning economy. From opening businesses and managing budgets to earning, spending, and investing Boys State Bucks, citizens gain firsthand experience with the principles that drive commerce and financial decision-making.

Central Bank's continued support helps make these immersive learning opportunities possible, giving young leaders a chance to develop practical skills that will serve them long after their week at Missouri Boys State.

A huge thank you to our friends at Andy's Frozen Custard for once again supporting the Missouri Boys State experience!

One of the most unique parts of Missouri Boys State is that citizens don't just learn about government, they also help build a functioning economy.

With the partnership from Andy's Frozen Custard, citizens have the opportunity to open and operate their own Andy's franchise during the week, managing inventory, marketing their business, serving customers, and learning firsthand what it takes to run a successful business.

This experience gives our citizens a real-world opportunity to put their skills into action while creating a little extra fun for their fellow citizens.

One Missouri Boys State citizen will receive a scholarship valued at up to $100,000, recognizing leadership, merit, need, and a commitment to stepping into the arena and making a difference.

Today, we remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their courage secured the freedoms we enjoy and the democracy we are entrusted to protect.

At Missouri Boys State, we believe leadership begins with service and that citizenship carries both privilege and responsibility. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also pause to honor those who never made it home.

Their sacrifice reminds us that democracy depends not only on institutions, but on citizens willing to serve something greater than themselves.

From all of us at Missouri Boys State, thank you to our fallen heroes and to the families who carry their legacy forward.
