Almost everyone has experienced having a family member, friend, friend’s family, or fellow worker suffer and be trapped by a mental disorder or substance use. To watch or be a part of what they are going through can be anything from disturbing to heart-wrenching. What the East Bay Recovery Center does is provide the hope and the methods to give them a chance to recover and get their lives back - before it’s too late.

The success rate of the Recovery Center has been impressive. Having Peer Recovery Specialists provide their peer exposure - having been there and having succeeded in recovering their lives - has been a critical tool in the Recovery Center’s process. Since January 1, 2026, East Bay Recovery Center has had 3,317 encounters with people who have come to them for recovery support. This number doesn’t include visits by participants in self-help groups that utilize the center after hours for meetings and activities.

Please help East Bay Recovery Center continue to help our community by giving them the resources to fight this epidemic, which is devastating and for which there is no vaccine - only hope!

The next mobile food pantry at East Bay Recovery Center will happen on Thursday, October 22nd. between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

This pantry is available to anyone, please bring I.D. And proof of address to avoid duplicate household registrations.
