We are proud to be the only transitional housing facility in Georgia dedicated exclusively to serving female veterans.

​Our mission is to provide a rewarding, results-driven environment that moves you from homelessness toward a life of independence and self-sufficiency.

We're rolling out the red carpet for the 2nd Annual Casino Night at the Great Gatsby Fundraiser Gala and we want YOU at the table!

Join us in celebrating and recognizing the incredible leaders behind Genesis Joy House! Today, we are proud to spotlight our Treasurer, Yolanda Franklin! 💼✨

A Warner Robins native, "Pastor Yo" brings an incredible powerhouse of leadership to our board. With over 35 years of government financial, managerial, and supervisory experience spanning the DOD, DOE, and various non-profits, her expertise is invaluable to our mission.

But her dedication doesn't stop with finance. Pastor Franklin holds a dual Master's in Accounting and Project Management, alongside a Doctorate in Theology. She is the Executive Pastor of The Shepherd House Outreach Ministries, the founder of Echoes of Encouragement Women’s Ministry, and a co-authored author dedicated to uplifting and empowering women to reach their full potential.

When she isn't serving her community through her ministry or her active work with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and The Links, Inc., she is the proud mother of 4 beautiful daughters, grandmother of 3, and a loving grandmama to 5 granddogs! 🐾❤️

We are looking for a passionate volunteer photographer and/or videographer to help us capture powerful stories, moments, and milestones. If you have an eye for storytelling, a knack for capturing raw emotion, and a heart for supporting our nation’s heroes, we would love to collaborate with you.
