As we near October, our 50th Anniversary Golden Celebration gets closer by the day, and we want to make sure patrons are still excited and in the know about what's in store. As part of our silent auction, we're allowing Warminster Library patrons to bid on this prize: a Pampered Chef signature non-stick grill pan with a removable handle, along with this adorable pepper-themed kitchen sign, all with a value of over $200. It's perfect for anyone with a passion for cooking. It could all be yours if you stop by today and place your bid.

Don't forget there's still time to grab your tickets for the celebration online or in person. Tickets start at $50 each.

It's that time of year again! The open enrollment period for Medicare begins soon, and we understand that the process can be a bit confusing and overstimulating. That's why the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging will be hosting a free seminar in the Warminster Library's large meeting room on Wednesday, September 16th at 11 AM. So if you're looking to enroll this year, make sure to register for the session to learn more!

I know, I know! We JUST reopened to the public after our carpet-replacement project, and we're very happy to be back in a somewhat regular flow of seeing our lovely patrons. That being said, Labor Day is this weekend, and we are going to be closed for another short period of time, specifically September 5th to the 7th, so it will not be long.

Thank you all for your understanding. We hope you enjoy your Labor Day and that while summer may have to come to an end, it ends with a bang!

Just a reminder to Warminster Library patrons: check out Ben Wilson Senior Center's annual Fall Food Truck Fest on September 12th. With live bands, kids' activities, vendors, a car show, a petting zoo, and more, it should be a lot of fun for the whole family, and it's for a good cause.

Retuning this fall is the - 6th Annual Bucks Fall Food Truck Fest , Car Show & Live Music . NOW open to business sponsors, vendors and crafters!

For a lot of students, school is back in session, and the Warminster Library is here to help them excel this year in any way we can.

We have plenty of workspaces throughout the building to use, including desks and group tables. Our computers are also free for the public to use and are a great resource for research, essay writing, and more. We also have an array of prep books to help students study for tests such as the ACT's and SAT's. If you're looking for a private space to get work done with no distractions, we also have quiet student rooms that can be reserved with the Information Services Desk.

Whatever you may need this fall, the Warminster Library has it for you!

In response to the recent Executive Order of President Trump and the Supreme Court's decision regarding mail-in balloting, we at the Warminster Library want to keep you up to date, especially since Election Day is fast approaching and we are a polling station.

At this time, the dates and guidelines provided by the Bucks County Board of Elections have not changed regarding requesting mail-in and absentee ballots. As per previous election cycles, the Warminster Library will have our ballot drop box in the lobby, and in-person voting will take place on Election Day in the Large Meeting Room.

The carpet is pretty much done and, honestly, the library's never looked better! We're so excited to open back up to the public tomorrow and return to business as usual. On behalf of the Warminster Library, we just wanted to say thank you. This project has really been a long time coming, and we understand that operations while we've been closed have been a bit strange to get used to for both staff and patrons. That being said, it's lovely to see how things have turned out, and we look forward to seeing everyone! 🙂

Recently, while rearranging some furniture inside the Warminster Library, staff rediscovered a historic 1701 land deed signed by Philadelphia's first elected mayor. The deed covers modern-day York and Steet Road.

In recognition of this historic artifact's spectacular rediscovery, local historian and writer, Patrick Michael McFadden, will present the research behind the land deed and the importance of The Old York to the founding of our country in 1776.

Join us on Saturday, September 26th at 2 PM for the special presentation!

Summer reading has been such a blast this year. We're so proud of our patrons for putting in so much effort. Every single patron's involvement demonstrates the importance of reading all year long. And though our program has come and gone, we wanted to highlight some of our grand prize winners. Everyone, give a round of applause for our raffle winners!

And remember, just because summer has ended doesn't mean that you can't still have fun at the Warminster Library. We'll still be brimming with events for all ages. Then, next year, we'll be right back around with another summer reading that's even better than the last. Until then, thank you sincerely for a lovely summer!
