We remember Anonymous, the eighth confirmed victim of intimate partner homicide in Minnesota in 2026.
Anonymous was killed by her partner in May. She has been publicly named, but the circumstances of her death have not been publicly connected to her name. Out of respect for her, she is being honored anonymously until or if these circumstances are publicly announced by the media.

She deserved safety, respect, and love. Our hearts are with her loved ones.

On Saturday staff from the Family Safety Network were given the opportunity to join Eastside Church in Park Rapids with their goal to feed 1 Million! We had so much fun helping packing meals for this wonderful event!

All of the meals that were packed are being distributed throughout our community to local organizations to serve those in need! Family Safety Network is happy to announce that we are one of the recipients of this amazing gesture! We are happy to be able to be able to provide some of these meals to our clients and their families!

What a fun and meaningful event! 💜

Today is National Gun Violence Awareness Day!

Guns are the most commonly used weapon in domestic violence homicides; women are more likely to be murdered with a gun than by all other means. Recent data show that domestic violence and gun violence are closely linked in Minnesota, with firearm homicides making up a significant share of intimate partner-related deaths.

Today we wear orange to honor victims and survivors of gun violence and to raise awareness about the need for prevention and safer communities.
