We really need help if we are to continue recycling plastic! We would appreciate help in collecting and bagging, weighing or whatever you feel you could do. If you or one of your groups would like information on how you can help please contact me at 715 821 1761!

Walker Lions are collecting plastic to be recycled. WE NEED HELP! There is so much more plastic we could recycle and keep it out of our lakes and rivers and oceans and landfills, BUT we need more help. We collect the plastic and then we need to take out anything non plastic such as labels or paper. We then bag and weigh and take to our recycle center. We need help with any part of this cycle. Do you or your club want to help by giving a little time? Perhaps you are willing to collect plastic from our bins...perhaps you could sit at home and cut off paper labels, ....anything you can do would be so helpful. We have bins around town and the plastic is clean. Please contact Ann at 715-821-1761 if you want to help!

What a week! To say we were busy would be an understatement!

🎶 Walker Bay Live kept us hopping Thursday evening, and we want to thank everyone who stopped by and enjoyed our Food & Brew stand. We had a fantastic time serving the community! Mark your calendars now—we’ll be back at Walker City Park on Wednesday, July 30 for another great evening.

🎆 This year, we started selling our 4th of July buttons a couple of weeks early, and thanks to your incredible support, we sold out during Walker Bay Live on July 2! Thank you to everyone who purchased a button and helped support our community efforts.

👏 Congratulations to Kelly Nelson, the high bidder on our special Button #250. Thank you for your generous support!

🍑 Peach Sale Update! Fresh peaches are expected to arrive by July 14, so there’s still time to place your order! Contact Judy Berg, any Walker Lions member, or Ann at 715-821-1761, and we’ll make sure your order gets to Judy.
