Congratulations to our raffle winners! MacKenzie and Audrey were 2 of more than 50 volunteers who picked up trash along the Rail Trail at our Spring Clean up and received gift certificates to Life Love Cheese.

🚨 WHAT AN IMPACT: 1,300 Pounds of Trash Removed from the Rail Trail
Together, the Wakefield Warrior Clean Up Crew removed over 1,300 pounds of trash from the Wakefield Rail Trail.
To every volunteer, thank you. Your time and energy made a real difference, and we truly could not have done this without you.
A special thank you to Ellie’s Pizza for generously donating pizza for our volunteers.

Some Warrior Clean Up Crew members who couldn't make it to tomorrow's event decided to pick up litter by the Spaulding playground and Common tonight. They collected 2 big bags of trash! 🗑🚮 Go Warriors! 💪

🚨 Wakefield is NOT a dumping ground.
In just two hours last Saturday, we pulled 600 lbs. of trash and 42 bulky items from the Wakefield Rail Trail barely a month after the Mass. Courts cleaned it.
This isn’t kids being careless. It’s illegal dumping by adults, piles of trash, auto parts, and debris left in plain sight.
💚 Huge thanks to Chris Hunt and the DPW for always helping us dispose of what we collect. Please shop local and support the Wakefield businesses that make our work possible.
