26.2 miles done!!!! (And an extra mile at a pretty good clip, I ran in the morning down Newbury Street, to get to my team picture!) Mary Beth, Sarah, and I finished the race, we did it! And all of you did it too with the heartfelt donations you have given to BILH, and the love and encouragement you have given me. I will be forever grateful, and could not have done this without each of you. This picture is the last stretch, running down Boylston Street, crying, with my family running on the course with me in their team shirts. Running the last steps with Mary Beth and Sarah who I had been with for 26 miles! - holding my Sister Nichole’s hand, my son Peter’s hand, my nephew Chris running beside us, my cousin Lisa behind us, then being run in right to the finish with Peter and Chris were the most incredible amazing moments!!! Peter telling me, “Mom, it’s right there, can you believe it?” And then later on the ride home, “I always knew the whole time you were going to be able to do it”. I talked to my brother Ronnie tonight to share some of these precious stories. Thank you everyone for being with me on this journey. There will be lots of pictures and videos to come! Here’s to Ronnie and Cheryl - Mom and Dad - Grammy and Granddad (with two d’s) - we love you - always.
