This non-profit was started in memory of our daughter, BriAnna Kruzel who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 18 on September 28, 2013 from natural causes.

Bri's Lodge /What Would Bri Do is a non-profit 501c3 that helps individuals cope with loss, support their healing, nurture their physical and emotional well-being and bring hope for the future-No one should grieve alone. Throughout BriAnna’s life she was very active and passionate about Girl Scouts. Her greatest love was working with Big Brothers Big Sisters. In 2013 she was nominated and won High School Big Sister of the Year, something she was very proud of. BriAnna also received the Youth Appreciation Award through the St. Cloud Optimist Club for her hard work with Big Brothers Big Sisters. BriAnna gave much of her time volunteering and was very involved with the Sartell Community Ed Dance program. In her free time she enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting and being around animals. She was a very happy person that had an infectious smile that would light up a room. In an attempt to honor her legacy of giving back, the goal of our non-profit is to continue giving back to the community that she loved.

As Thanksgiving approaches we are giving thanks for the local businesses and corporations who have supported us over the past year.
Today we give thanks for Scheels Sporting Goods Store in St. Cloud.
They have generously supported the work we do in the community to support grieving families and individuals this year, helping us to bring hope and healing to hundreds of hurting hearts.

With Thanksgiving approaching, we are focused on giving thanks as we reflect on the local businesses and corporations who have financially supported us over the past year.

Today our hearts are filled with gratitude for Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union in St. Cloud for supporting the work of Bri's Lodge in the community. Their generous sponsorship of our 2026 Evening of Hope Gala has helped us provide a variety of services to dozens of new families and individuals since April.
We are very grateful to have local partners who care deeply about the grieving in our community.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to have welcomed so many to the Grief Resource Open House we hosted yesterday at Bri’s Lodge, along with our community partners.
Thank you to Calvary Community Church GriefShare, St. Croix Hospice, Moments Hospice, Holistic Flower Farm, Center for Life Transitions, Quiet Oaks Hospice House, Centracare Hospice and Centracare St. Cloud Hospital for joining us and sharing about their resources with all those who came.
We are so fortunate to serve alongside so many compassionate folks who truly care about grieving families and individuals in our community.
Together we are advocating, educating, listening and helping to bring hope, healing and joy to hurting hearts.
