A story from our home... 🏡❤️

A sibling set came into Isaiah 117 House needing more than just a safe place to stay. One young girl had such severe lice that a hairstylist spent hours gently combing through her hair while a volunteer sat beside her, talking and playing with her. In the middle of it all, our guest felt safe enough to fall asleep while the volunteer held her head up with her hands so the hairstylist could continue working on giving this sweet girl a clean hairstyle and getting rid of all of the lice.

This is our why.
Because every child deserves to feel safe.
Every child deserves gentleness.
And every child deserves to be cared for with dignity, even in the hardest moments. 🤍
