WWLC enjoyed one of its own today when Charter member and 2-X3 District Governor Kim Giles provided today’s program in her home club. Pollo came along to provide smiles, but he was a bit alarmed at Mary Needler’s chicken salad! It was a great meeting of fun, helpful info and camaraderie. We welcomed two special guests—Nora Villegas-Reyes and Guadalupe Hernandez visited from the Killeen Noon Lions Club.

This summer, the Texas Lions Camp made a life-changing impact by serving 1,072 campers from across Texas—and we're proud to share that four of those campers were from Waco! 💙💛

The Texas Lions Camp provides an unforgettable experience for children with physical disabilities, Type 1 diabetes, Down Syndrome and cancer—all at no cost to their families, thanks to the generosity and service of Lions across Texas.

WWLC is honored to support this incredible mission and are grateful that children from our community had the opportunity to experience the joy, friendships, and memories that camp provides.

Thank you to everyone who supports Lions and the Texas Lions Camp. Together, we continue to make a difference—one camper, one family, and one community at a time.

WWLC sisters did a phenomenal job today of helping to set up (and clean up), AND making 99 hot volunteers feel welcome and stay hydrated at today’s 2-X3 Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed-building project! Others worked at the drilling and sanding stations (we sounded like bees). 🐝
