🚨 PLEASE HELP US KEEP OUR COMMUNITY CLEAN 🚨

The clothing donation bins at Build-A-Bridge Community Pantry are for TEXTILE DONATIONS ONLY. This includes items such as:
✔️ Clothes
✔️ Shoes
✔️ Blankets
✔️ Towels
✔️ Other textile materials

These bins are NOT for:
❌ Household garbage
❌ Furniture
❌ Toys
❌ Household items/appliances
❌ Random items you no longer want

Over the past several weeks, we have had to clean up piles of dumped items and trash left around these bins.

This creates extra work for our volunteers, attracts pests, damages the property, and takes away from the time and resources that should be spent serving families in need.

Please understand — these bins are monitored.

This post serves as our FINAL WARNING. From this point forward, anyone caught illegally dumping items or trash at these bins will be reported to the local police department, and charges will be pursued.

You may not care about taking care of your own property, but we believe in being good stewards of everything the Lord has blessed us with. We work hard to keep our facility clean, welcoming, and respectful for the community we serve.

We appreciate everyone who donates responsibly and helps us continue making a difference in the lives of others. ❤️

Christ In Our Place

Romans 5:6-11 says

"For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person though prehaps for a good people one would dare even to die but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by His blood, much more shall we be saved by Him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by His life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation."

In these verses, God is showing us His unconditional love by having His Son to die for ALL of humanity while we were wretched sinners and enemies of God. He didn't just die for the righteous, but for the weak, the hurting and for the sinners. The Lord loves us NO MATTER WHAT!

Inclement Weather Update

In response to the potential for inclement weather, Build-A-Bridge Community Pantry WILL remain open tomorrow for any clients who feel safe traveling to their scheduled appointment.

For the safety of our volunteers, we have asked most of them to stay home, so we will be operating with a skeleton crew.

However, we wanted to remain available to serve clients who are able and comfortable coming in.

If you do not feel safe traveling, we completely understand. Please send us a Facebook Messenger message or email us at [email protected], and we will be happy to help you reschedule for later this week.

Your safety is our priority. Please use your best judgment and stay safe! 💙
