Welcome to ABIDE Homeschool Moms' Sabbatical page. Please like, follow, and share with all your Homeschool Mom Friends!
This is a Sabbatical planned by a Homeschool Mom for Homeschool Moms. The inaugural event will be Friday - Sunday, February 9 - 11, 2024. The weekend will be full of REST, RELAXATION, fun, fellowship, games, hiking, and whatever YOU need for it to be a SABBATICAL for you.
This is NOT a conference. It is NOT an EXPO of books, curriculum, and resources. This IS a true sabbatical for you to recoup, refresh, rewind, regroup, relax, and just BE. Be with your friends, BE with yourself, BE with new friends.
However, just by BEING with us, you will feel equipped, supported, empowered, encouraged, and loved and you will leave with all the information you need or want OR just have had a fun getaway.
Our Holy Bible says:
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5
As a 20-year veteran homeschool mom with two graduates successfully finishing K4 through college credits and HS graduation from HOME, I know you need some rest and a fun road trip with your homeschool mom friends. I just graduated my last one in May. He and I are in the profile pics. I will share more about my two precious children, Asa and Alexandra, soon.
As a homeschool mom, you GIVE all day long, SEVEN days a week, 365 DAYS A YEAR for YEARS. Mine has been 20 years. But I've worked, served and had a full 20 years. I'm tired too y'all. Not gonna lie.
I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS SABBATICAL. It's as much for me as it is for you! I'm planning so many things. My passion is events. My passion is homeschooling. And, I get to marry the two on this glorious weekend when it's the coldest, darkest, loneliest time of the year. We all wanted to quit in February! ROFL! SO, February it is.
YOU NEED A SABBATICAL. Just once a year. Your time. With NO KIDS. NO dishes. NO laundry. NO cooking.
All meals, lodging, and fun are provided on this very low-cost weekend, you just got to get here. Ask for this for Christmas!
If you truly need a scholarship and cannot afford this year but need to come, please email me at [email protected]. I never want finances to get in the way of REST and neither does the Lord.
Now, this is a camp - we're in cabins. It's going to be sooooo FUN!
